NOVEMBER ARMISTICE
Each November we remember those who have given their lives in service of their country. Within two world wars and conflicts across the globe, women have served.
On October 5th 1974, at the Horse and Groom pub in Guildford, a bomb planted by the IRA detonated. The explosion claimed the lives of one civilian, two off-duty Scots guards and two off-duty WRAC servicewomen, wounding scores more.
We Will Remember Her is a national remembrance initiative led by the WRAC Association to ensure the service and sacrifice of women in the British Armed Forces are never forgotten.
The Women's Royal Army Corps Association remembers those women of the QMAAC, ATS and WRAC who died in service as well as all serving personnel who made the ultimate sacrifice
