BOOKS & TALKS FOR SCHOOLS
Sharing the stories of women who served with the next generation.
Our Books & Talks for Schools project brings the stories of women who served in the British Army into classrooms across the UK.
For many young people, the role women have played in the Armed Forces is still largely unknown. This project helps change that by providing schools with books and teaching materials that highlight the history, achievements and experiences of servicewomen.
INSPIRING THE NEXT GENERATION
By sharing these stories, the project helps ensure that the contributions of women in the Armed Forces are recognised as part of the nation’s history.
It also encourages greater understanding of equality, service and the role women have played in shaping the Armed Forces.
