FEMALE VETERANS TOOLKIT
Improving recognition, support and representation for women who have served.
The Female Veterans Toolkit is a major initiative led by the WRAC Association to improve the way female veterans are recognised, supported and represented.
Developed through research, collaboration and lived experience, the programme works with organisations across government, healthcare and the charity sector to ensure the needs of female veterans are properly understood and addressed.
WHY THIS WORK MATTERS
For many years, research and lived experience have shown that women leaving the Armed Forces often face different challenges to their male counterparts.
From accessing appropriate healthcare and welfare support to simply being recognised as veterans at all, female veterans can be overlooked within existing systems.
The Female Veteran's Toolkit was created to address these gaps and ensure women are visible, recognised and supported at every stage of their journey.

THE FEMALE VETERANS TOOLKIT
The award-winning Female Veterans Toolkit is a practical resource designed to help organisations better understand and support female veterans.
It includes downloadable resources, research insights, and guidance to improve services across healthcare, employment and welfare.
“This much-needed toolkit will not only help service providers to better cater to the unique needs and experiences of women veterans, but will also help to banish stereotypes and celebrate the growing female proportion of the veteran community.
